New unpublished photos of Michael Schumacher with Max Verstappen
The Netflix documentary Drive to Survive has unearthed unreleased photos of Michael Schumacher with Max Verstappen when he was a kid.
The Netflix documentary Drive to Survive has made Michael Schumacher a topic of conversation again. One of the episodes of the series brought to light unpublished photos of the 7-time F1 world champion with Max Verstappen when he was a kid.
Almost 10 years have passed since Michael Schumacher’s tragic accident, but the public’s love and interest in his health is unbroken. This time it was the photos, first published on Drive to Survive, that caused quite a stir.
In one of these photos, which have come to light for the first time, we see Schumacher on one side his daughter and on the other Max Verstappen as a toddler, in another Schumacher bending over the cheeky, grinning Max.
The reason for the release of the pictures was the close relationship between Schumacher’s family and Verstappens, which Drive to Survive delves into:Both of our families vacationed together when we were little. These memories will always be with me“said the Dutchman, among others.
