F1 and Tottenham join forces on ambitious project
Tottenham Hotspur has reached a 15-year deal with F1 to build the first kart track inside the stadium. Development of a pilot recruitment program to discover new pearls of competition.
‘Spurs’ build this electric kart track under the stadiumexpanding multi-purpose options at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which also hosts NFL games, rugby union, concerts and boxing evenings.
The track has been approved by the UK’s National Karting Association and may host championships in the future.
Additionally, Tottenham will work with Formula One to develop talent recruitment program Through educational activities in schools, we attract young people interested in the world of automobiles, not only in driving, but also in stages such as engineering and software development.
Environmental responsibility is another objective of the program. Tottenham are the Premier League’s ‘greenest’ club, aiming to be carbon-free by 2040, while F1 plans to be carbon-free by 2030. We aim to
