FINAL SUPERBIKE 2023 CALENDAR LAUNCHED
After the first round of the Superbike World Championship at Phillip Island, where defending champion Alvaro Bautista won an impressive third straight title, Dorna and the FIM will take place from July 14-16 as Round 7 We have just announced the addition of the final round of the calendar. After reaching an agreement with Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola.
The appointment at the iconic circuit will be the second on Italian soil after Misano Adriatico’s Emilia Romagna from June 2-4. Imola will host the Italian round, returning to the WorldSBK calendar for the first time in three seasons. 2019 was the last year to host a series-derived motorcycle world championship, with races 1 and 2 won by Rea and the superpole race won by Bautista. And it came at a time when the Ducatistas were completely euphoric, with two Borgo Panigale titles achieved in 2022 by Alvaro Bautista’s pilot and the Ducati constructor.
