Al Rajhi and Van Beveren take part in Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge

Saudi Arabia Yazid Al Raj (Overdrive Racing), car, France Adrian Van Beveren (Honda) won the World Cup of Raid Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge on bikes, while Argentina’s Luciano Benavidez (Husqvarna) was second on two wheels.

Already second in 2016, Raj became the first Saudi pilot to have a race record after finishing sixth on the final stage. In general, he preceded Czech Martin Prokop (Orlen Benzina).

Frenchman Sébastien Loeb beats Qatari’s Nasser Al-Attiyah for overall lead (both abandoned this test, but the former had the option to re-enlist) and Prokop, Al Raj in fourth.

by motorcycle, Australia’s Toby Price (KTM) won the final stage ahead of Chile’s José Ignacio Cornejo, but Van Bevelen retained his lead in fifth, while Luciano Benavidez was generally the Frenchman. It was 2nd place at 4 minutes behind. And 18 seconds.

Price leads the motorcycles overall with four points more than Van Beveren. Kevin Benavidez is his 3rd to 8th and Luciano Benavidez is his 4th to 11th.
