Age is not a barrier. 41-year-old Alonso ready to extend contract with Aston Martin
Pilot Fernando Alonso, who will turn 42 in the summer, is not against considering extending his contract with the Aston Martin team in the future.
The driver’s current contract expires next year.
“I’m ready to sign a contract, but now I can’t say whether I will do that. “I can say with certainty that if I sign a contract, it will only be with Aston Martin,” said Alonso.
The pilot’s personal trainer said that the Spanish pilot’s career is almost at its best, so age will not be an issue in the near future.
Aston Martin has started the current Formula 1 season surprisingly well, with Alonso finishing the first three stages of the championship on the podium.
