The race was held within the framework of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. The win was won by Red Bull driver Sergio Perez, who started third but managed to get ahead of Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen.
At the start of the race, Verstappen and Pérez passed Leclerc, but then got ahead of Sergio Max during the safety car. Until the end of the race, Perez was faster than Verstappen and kept his partner.
Perez managed to regain 9 points in the general classification at the weekend.
