Verstappen wins Monaco wet race, Alonso and Ocon on podium
Top 10: Verstappen, Alonso, Ocon, Hamilton, Russell, Leclerc, Gasly, Sainz, Norris, Piastri
The race took place as part of the Monaco Grand Prix. Red Bull driver Max Verstappen won, while Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon rounded out the top 3.
Note that the first part of the race passed almost without interesting events, as the pilots in the top 10 held their starting positions, but then it started to rain.
It started to rain quite heavily with 25 laps left, but it should be noted that Red Bull was not eliminated. Having done a few laps on the wet, Verstappen calmly switched to the intermediate tires and was right.
However, runner-up Fernando Alonso did not switch to intermediate tyres, but replaced the tires with slick tyres. And I was wrong. The Spaniard had to pit again immediately and was back on the track 20 seconds behind Verstappen. Let us note the return of Alpine driver Esteban Okon to the podium.
The Ferrari drivers did their worst in the rain, they could have been in the top 5 together but eventually finished outside of the top five.
We note the unsuccessful weekend of Sergio Perez, who after the race lost 39 points to Verstappen in the overall standings.

2. Sergio Perez (Red Bull) – 105
