Formula 1, GP of Saudi Arabia: “Usually three days,” say the organizers
In a statement issued during the second free trial, the Saudi Federation of Motor Sports announced that the Grand Prix will continue as normal despite the new attack on Jeddah.
“The two-day race will continue as plannedThis was announced by the Saudi Arabian Motor Sports Association on Friday night, March 25, a few hours after the renewed attack in Jeddah.
What happened for the second time in a few days in the city, just a few kilometers from the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix circuit, caused great concern, fear and apprehension among drivers and teams. It was expressed internally, but not formally – at least until the time these lines were written.
To anticipate everything else, and after discussions with all teams, directors and drivers, the Saudi Federation of Motor Sports made it clear that postponing the Grand Prix was out of the question.
