A three-day ceasefire and truce was announced by the rebels, who fired rockets at Jeddah on Friday (March 25). Smooth completion of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

The worst happened in Jeddah after the rocket attacks on Friday March 25th. At least as long as Formula 1 is in Saudi Arabia. As it became known, the Yemeni rebels agreed to a three-day ceasefire with the coalition formed by Saudi Arabia in order to avoid further problems.

In particular, the Houthi political leader Mahdi al-Masat announced the “Armistice and all military operations for a period of three days“.

Opera means the Jeddah Grand Prix will take place on Sunday March 27 without fear of fresh attacks in the wider area, something that had caused a bit of a panic between teams and drivers in the first year.
