Verstappen wins sprint qualifiers, Perez and Norris in top 3
Top 10: Verstappen, Perez, Norris, Hulkenberg, Sainz, Leclerc, Alonso, Stroll, Okon, Magnussen
Sprint qualifiers were held as part of the Austrian Grand Prix. The Red Bull Max Verstappen driver won the session, ahead of Sergio Perez and Lando Norris.
We note the progress of McLaren, which brought to Austria a major update of the car. Norris finished 4th in qualifying yesterday.
Not the best session was created for Mercedes. Lewis Hamilton showed only 18th and George Russell was unable to compete for the top 10 due to technical problems.
The race will start at 17:30.
