How big is the Formula 1 audience worldwide?
Which race had the most viewers in 2021 – Check out official Formula 1 stats from last season.
the 1.55 billion Global F1 viewership peaked in 2021, a 4% increase compared to 2020. According to official Formula 1 figures, the average viewership per race was 70,300,000 viewers, 10 million more than last year.
This number is the highest since 2013, which is perfectly normal as many games have been held with no or limited spectator seating due to the pandemic.
However, despite the restrictions, 2021 reached the number of spectators watching a game from the stands of the faithful 2.69 million. However, in the years leading up to Covid, the number of people watching an F1 race live reached 4.16million. Those were the three GPs with more than 300,000 visitors United States of America (400,000), from Mexico (371,000) and Great Britain (356,000).
Back on TV, the Grand Prix with the most viewers last year was his Abu Dhabi with 108.7 million viewers – absolutely logical, because in the last game of the season the title was decided between Max Ferstappen and Lewis Hamilton. This number is up 29% compared to 2020.
His fight was also highly regarded Bahrain (84.5 million), but also the three weekends with sprint races: at silverstone (79.5 million), in Monza (80.4 million) and in Sao Paulo (82.1 million).
