Sainz takes pole position in Singapore, Red Bull fails
top 10: Sainz, Russell, Leclerc, Norris, Hamilton, Magnussen, Alonso, Ocon, Hulkenberg, Lawson
Qualifying for the Singapore Grand Prix has taken place. The owner of the pole was Ferrari pilot Carlos Sainz, who won his second qualifying round in a row.
George Russell and Charles Leclerc completed the top 3.
As expected, the street circuit became uncomfortable for Red Bull, so Max Verstappen could not even race for the front row, but the Bulls failed to qualify.
Both Verstappen and Sergio Perez failed to finish in the top 10 (11th and 13th results). The team will have a hard time continuing their incredible winning streak on Sunday.
Let’s note that Hulkenberg, Magnussen and Lawson entered the top 10.
