Sainz breaks Red Bull’s dominance, podium for Norris and Hamilton in Singapore
Carlos Sainz was the first to see the checkered flag at the Singapore Grand Prix and broke Red Bull’s dominance. Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton completed the podium.
Red Bull has dominated absolutely every track in Formula 1 this season, but the bull streak came to an end in Singapore. There Carlos Sainz was the first to see the checkered flag and celebrated the second victory of his career.
Lando Norris’ McLaren came second, Lewis Hamilton completed the podium. George Russell, for his part, held third place, but had an accident and retired from the race on the last lap. Verstappen is in sixth place.
