Red Bull could take the title in Japan. Verstappen needs to wait
At next Sunday’s Japanese Grand Prix, the Red Bull team will most likely win the Constructors’ Championship. The Bulls have been dominant since the start of the season and are poised to take the title with six races remaining.
To win the constructors’ championship, Red Bull must take at least one point more than Mercedes and also prevent Ferrari from taking 24 points more than the Bulls.
This will be the team’s second consecutive championship and sixth in history.
As for Max Verstappen’s championship, mathematically he will not be able to secure the title in Japan, so the driver will have to wait for the Qatar Grand Prix.
