Max Verstappen – three-time Formula 1 champion

Following the results of the Qatar Grand Prix sprint race, Red Bull pilot Max Verstappen won the championship title. While the sprint driver started third and finished second, McLaren driver Oscar Piastri won the race.
Verstappen became champion during the sprint following the elimination of Sergio Perez.
This is Max’s third consecutive title. Verstappen surpassed Ayrton Senna, Nelson Piquet, Niki Lauda, Jackie Stewart and Jack Brabham in the number of championships.
Only Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton (7 each), Juan Manuel Fangio (5), Alain Prost and Sebastian Vettel (4 each) have more championships.
Verstappen has already won 13 races this season (with six more to go), including a record streak of ten wins in a row. Besides Max, only Sergio Perez (twice) and Carlos Sainz (once) have won this season.
