Red Bull admitted it: Even Verstappen is a Ferrari fan
Red Bull Racing was so euphoric during the three days in Qatar to celebrate Max Verstappen’s third consecutive championship that they even tweeted a (very) old photo of Max Verstappen dressed in red with a Cavallino on his chest.
The Austrian team, which has a good command of social media, posted the image of Verstappen himself holding a photo from his childhood in which he wore a crimson Scuderia tracksuit.
Red Bull then wrote: “It’s true what they say“referring to Sebastian Vettel’s infamous statement a few years ago – when he had already moved from Milton Keynes to Maranello – that “Everyone is her fan Ferrari. Even if they say they aren’t, they are her fans Ferrari”.
The Italian team did not take long to accept the “ball” thrown by RBR and reacted to it in their official report “Everyone is her fan Ferrari”.
For now, Max Verstappen is following exactly the same path as Vettel, who won his third championship with Red Bull in 2012 – out of a total of four. However, fans will probably not see him in red like the Germans – at least not so quickly – as the Dutchman is committed to Red Bull until the end of 2028.
