Leclerc takes pole position in Mexico, Ferrari takes first place

Qualifying for the Mexican Grand Prix has taken place. Unexpectedly, Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc took pole position, while his teammate Carlos Sainz took second place.
The Scuderia was behind Max Verstappen during practice but managed to find pace. Both drivers said after qualifying that they did not expect to be in first place.
The top 3 was completed by Verstappen. Let’s note Daniel Ricciardo’s high 4th result at Alpha Tauri.
Unexpectedly, Lando Norris qualified 19th in the McLaren. The British driver made a mistake in his attempt and will start the race from last place.
