Verstappen wins in Brazil, incredible fight between Alonso and Perez
top 10: Verstappen, Norris, Alonso, Perez, Stroll, Sainz, Gasly, Hamilton, Tsunoda, Ocon
The race took place as part of the Brazilian Grand Prix. The stage was won by Red Bull driver Max Verstappen, who started first and reached the finish line calmly.
However, interesting events took place behind Verstappen. Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc, who was already in the warm-up lap, retired after experiencing technical problems with his car.
There was a minor logjam at the restart with Magnussen and Albon participating. Additionally, Piastri and Ricciardo’s cars were damaged.
Lando Norris and Fernando Alonso completed the top 3. The Spaniard overcame a tough battle against Sergio Perez to return to the podium for the first time since the Dutch Grand Prix in August. With two laps to go, Sergio overtook his rival, but Fernando did not give up in the last lap and took third place.
Let’s note the unsuccessful result of Mercedes. George Russell and Lewis Hamilton, who had doubled the victory in Brazil the year before, did not please their fans: Hamilton finished 8th and Russell retired.
