Formula One has become increasingly popular in the United States in recent years, and the current season includes three races in that country. Stages in Miami and Texas have already taken place, but the last and most spectacular grand prix remains: the Vegas Grand Prix.

It will be a street race, which becomes a problem for the organizers. Part of the journey will take place along the famous Las Vegas Boulevard, where popular restaurants, shops and other entertainment venues are located. F-1 had to try very hard to reach an agreement with them (not for free, of course) and close the race for three days.

Formula 1 even had to apologize to local residents for the inconvenience caused during the organization of the race. But people should be pleased with the economic impact: The phase is expected to bring $1.7 billion into the local economy.

The street racing itself will be extremely fast: the simulators will show speeds at the level of the fastest track of the championship in Monza. The 6.1-kilometer track consists of 17 bends and three long straights. Most of the route runs along the real roads of Vegas, where special asphalt for Formula 1 needs to be laid. F1 purchased some of the land allocated for the track from its owners for 240 million dollars.

One of the highlights of the track will be the massive MSG Sphere arena, which only opened in September. The cars will zip through the $2.3 billion entertainment and music arena. Naturally, such an event needs to sparkle, flash and sparkle with neon lights, so the race will be at night. Ukrainian spectators will have to get up at 10:00 to watch the qualifying and the race will start at 08:00.

Of course, Red Bull is considered the favorite for the race, but the current cars will be testing this circuit for the first time, which opens up the possibility of unexpected results, as in Singapore, where the Bulls allowed their rivals to win. for the first time this season.

The weather must be an interesting factor. The Vegas Grand Prix may be one of the coldest races in F1 history. Temperatures are expected to be between 10 and 13 degrees Celsius throughout the race weekend. Pirelli has introduced the softest tire sets that will warm up faster. Warming up tires is considered one of the biggest problems of drivers before the race.

The coldest race in Formula 1 history took place in Canada in 1978, where the temperature dropped to +5 degrees.
