RM Sotheby’s held an auction featuring a unique lot from the recent Las Vegas Grand Prix.
The 2013 Mercedes race car driven by future seven-time Formula 1 champion Briton Lewis Hamilton came under the blow.
The original price for the piece was $10 million; In the end, the anonymous buyer paid $17 million in American currency for the car. Thus, Hamilton’s Mercedes “surpassed” the legendary Michael Schumacher’s Ferrari, which was sold in 2022 for $ 15 million.
