Pedro AcostaThe first Moto2 world champion since Sepang dominated both free practice sessions at the Valencia Gran Premio de la Comunitato in Ceste, and on both occasions fell short of his previous best lap record.

Even though Pedro Acosta broke Alonso López’s record from last season (1:34.314) with a time of 1:34.024 in the morning, he improved his personal best with a time of 1:33.768 in the afternoon.

Kane and Aldeguer took turns at the table until Masaron Rider’s reply arrived. The Mazarron rider is the only Moto2 rider who will ultimately be promoted to MotoGP in 2024, as boss Bosco Curo did not allow Aldeguer to leave due to the hefty release clause he requested.

No one could beat the 2023 “brand new” world champion’s time, which was 132,000ths ahead of Fermin Aldeguer and 183,000ths ahead of Aron Kane.
