The first half was a very solid game with few chances and alternating dominance. Mercantil managed to pull ahead with a set-piece goal from Marc Domenech just before half-time. A much better San Francisco team defeated Pratges de Calvia. Domenech won the one-on-one with the goalkeeper, making it 1-0 at halftime.
