Jorge Martin has a new fan in Cheste: Marc Marquez
If there’s ever a rogue rider on the MotoGP grid, it’s the man himself humorously described as “a bit of a slut.” Marc Marquez No one would know them all since he started rising to prominence in the 125cc World Championship. He was also asked what he thought of Martin’s harassing tactics after Bagnaia and clarified: “Ole for Martin.”
“Ole for Martin, that’s it. It’s within the rules, it’s within the limits. Some people will say, ‘No, that’s unsportsmanlike.’ To win the World Cup, you have to sacrifice your whole life in any way possible. And Martin said this weekend, “From behind and what he has to do is try to destabilize Pecco in any way he can, within the limits, within the regulations.” And that’s what he did. Or you can tell, because I didn’t see it, but that’s what he did. In practice. The result was good, he achieved it. Pekko has extra work tomorrow. He will have to do the same in the race. Let’s see how he deals with it. But ultimately, this is a motorcycle. For those who like it, and for those who don’t,” said the eight-time world champion.
After qualifying directly for Q2 without having to look for wheels, he was asked about his expectations for this weekend, which concludes his 11-year adventure as a Repsol Honda rider, and whether a podium will come into the equation. Marc replied, “If the final was tomorrow morning.” ”
“For example, in the first free practice I was ahead and the gap between me and the others was huge. After that it got pretty tough and tomorrow it will be even tougher because people are reaching their limits. “He was always capable of reaching the limit. “I was fast and that’s what I did from the beginning in the first free practice and practice, but after that I stayed there. Everything depends on the result of the qualifying session. I had a good Q2. “If we can keep up that pace and intensity,” we remain confident today and will see if we can achieve a better result than in past races. ”
“I want to finish the race. Last year I said, ‘Big door or the doctor’s office,’ and it ended badly. Obviously, anything can happen in a race and everyone wants to go fast. Because you drive, you take risks, especially on the road.” The World Cup: Martin: “It goes very fast and all the drivers are enthusiastic, but I want to finish. Now, whatever happens, the world It never ends,” Marc concluded.

PHOTOGRAPH. Red Bull and Ford unveil their first joint engine in F1
In 2026, large-scale rule changes will be introduced in Formula 1, which will introduce not only new aerodynamics of cars, but also a radical update of power plants.
In this context, Renault decided to suspend the development of its own engines. At the same time, new manufacturers have emerged in Formula 1: Audi and Honda have returned to Aston Martin, Cadillac will launch with its own units in 2028, and Red Bull has received technical support from Ford.
Before the start of the season and the first tests, most of the discussions are about engines. Ford, Red Bull and Mercedes have reportedly found a solution to compress the engine, which is expected to provide an advantage of up to 0.3 seconds per lap.
Against the background of all this, the season of team presentations begins, where updated liveries will be shown, and maybe someone will show off a full-fledged car before leaving the track. Red Bull will be the first team: today, December 16, they will present the colors together with their sister team Racing Bulls.
Before the official release, the team attracted the attention of fans by showing the first photo of the Red Bull-Ford joint engine, the first of its kind, on social networks. Specific technical details are not yet visible, but the team logo attracts attention.
The 2026 season presentation of the Red Bull car will be held in Detroit (USA) at 05:00 Kiev time.

The F1 champion chose a driver who could win 5 championships. This is not Verstappen
1996 Formula 1 champion Damon Hill expressed his confidence in Lando Norris, believing that the British driver can win three or four championships during his career after his success last month.
Norris finished the 2025 season at the top of the standings, finishing third at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
This earned him a place on a list of world champions that includes only 35 drivers. It’s even rarer for a driver to win more than one championship, but Hill is confident Norris can extend his achievements to four or five trophies.
“He did that, and that provides a certain peace of mind,” Hill said.
“He will be able to relax to a certain degree. It all depends on your desire to win.”
I always thought it would be enough for Michael (Schumacher) to win one, two, three, four, five championships, but he went on to win one or two more championships. On the contrary, some people become more motivated and pursue new titles. I definitely think Lando is capable of multiple championships. “I think there are three or four more left.”
