ABT Cupra XE signs champion Adrien Tabet for the season finale
Adrien Tabe will team up with Clara Anderson for Extreme E’s final doubleheader at the Copper X Prix in Chile.
Champion Adrien Tabe will team up with the ABT Cupra XE team for the final challenge of the year, the Extreme E doubleheader in Chile on December 2nd and 3rd. Racing is in Adrien Tabet’s DNA. He has raced around the world in various cars and was crowned FIA ETCR champion in his first season with Cupra last year.
Tabe will – in his first Extreme E double race – drive the Cupra Tavascan XE in one of the driest regions in the world with Clara Anderson at his side. After the double podium at the Island X Prix in Sardinia, the ABT Cupra XE is aiming for positive results at the Copper X Prix in the Antofagasta area.
“It is a great honor for me to drive for the ABT Cupra XE in Chile. I still have a lot to learn as this will be my first experience in off-road racing. But since I’ve always liked challenges, I’m looking forward to it. “The ABT Cupra XE family trusts me, so I will do my best,” said Adrien Tabet.
The Extreme E Championship will continue to raise awareness of the climate crisis by using electric off-road vehicles in natural environments under the pressure of climate change. The aim is to demonstrate how we can prevent further destruction and contribute to sustainability, which is consistent with Cupra’s values.
