When asked if Fernando would take part in the post-season test in Abu Dhabi, he replied, “No, no.” Alonso has informed that he will drive an Aston Martin in Abu Dhabi. “I hope the test goes well. I’ll be testing in GT3 at Portimao,” revealed Max. “I’m riding the DTM in Aragon, where I can beat you,” he said with a laugh, causing a laugh from Verstappen and launching into a Christmas greeting to the crowd.
“Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. See you next season,” Alonso concluded. He was satisfied with what he himself defined as his best season in terms of running alongside his 2012 with Ferrari.
