Alonso: “Schumacher was an inspiration for all of us, thanks to him a lot has changed in Formula 1”
Fernando Alonso, the driver who replaced Michael Schumacher in 2005, paid tribute to “Sumi” just days before the 10th anniversary of the accident that left the legendary seven-time world champion with long-term injuries.
On December 28th, the day of this sad anniversary of the accident in the French Alps, ARD will present a documentary series called “Being Michael Schumacher”, which tells the entire racing journey of Michael Schumacher.

Michael Schumacher’s last victory came at the 2006 Chinese Grand Prix. He retired from the sport at the end of the year, but in 2010 he returned to Mercedes for three seasons with the “Silver Arrows” before finally retiring at the end of 2012 gives him his place in Hamilton.

Sergio Perez shared his feelings after his first trip to the track for the Cadillac team.
Just 10.5 months after receiving final approval from the FIA to become the 11th team in the championship, Perez found himself behind the wheel at the Silverstone circuit, where the car completed its first laps on the day of filming.
The team, wearing all black uniforms, confirmed that they carried out all system checks during the run.
“Today was truly an incredible day,” Perez said
Everyone should be proud as we completed our first tours as a team. Every member of the team worked on this moment and it was very emotional for me.
We can and should enjoy it, but it also gives us even more energy. I want to get behind the wheel as soon as possible; This is just the beginning.”
“This was a great opportunity for the team to get a feel for operating in a real garage environment, test the car’s systems and troubleshoot initial issues. But this is just the beginning of the journey. We are now focusing on pre-season testing in a few weeks, which will provide further learning opportunities.”

The Ukrainian driver defeated his rivals in the F4 qualifying round. Bondarev on pole position
The important sessions of the first race weekend of the Middle East Formula 4 (UAE4) season, attended by Ukrainian driver Alexander Bondarev, started on Saturday, January 17, at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.
The day started with a training session in which the Ukrainian athlete showed the fastest time.
After this, the qualifying round took place, where Bondarev left no chance to his rivals and won the pole position with an advantage of almost 0.4 seconds in the first session. The Ukrainian’s gap was comparable to the gap between second and seventh place.
