Formula 1: New two-year contract with Netflix for Drive To Survive
A day before the start of the three-day race in Miami, Formula 1 announced the new agreement with Netflix for Drive To Survive to have a 5th and 6th season.
Netflix’s entry into the inside of Formula 1 helped expand the world’s base dedicated to and watching the premier motorsport championship. Drive To Survive’s four successful seasons tell the truth as the sport is in full swing and shows it can attract even more viewers in the years to come given the abundance of talent on the grid.
Somehow, what many Formula 1 fans expected and expected happened. Specifically, on Thursday, May 5, a day before the start of the three-day race at the Miami Grand Prix, Formula 1 and Netflix announced the signing of Drive To Survive to a new two-year deal, which will now be its 5th and 6th seasons .
After all, Season 5 is already filming, with episodes from the new cycle releasing a few days before the start of the next season – which has happened in each of the previous four.
