Ogura took advantage of pole-sitter Aldeguer’s lifted front wheel at the start and made a bold move into the first corner, but the future Ducati rider regained control in two corners and gained three or four tenths of a second in the battle for position, overtaking Ogura, Albolino and Alonso Lopez, who were chasing them, and the leader Sergio García Dors in the first turn.
Turn 5 Aldeguer He has already added a second to the leading group, who are now in a strong lead. Garcia Doles Bosco Scuro chassis’ Ai Ogura and Alonso Lopez took second place, but a long lap caution due to track limits came down early at Murciano. Ogura started the final lap with a 2.5 minute advantage, but Aldeguer was unable to get behind him, and the Japanese added his second win of the year after Catalunya. Ogura overtook the injured Roberts for second place in the championship and now leads Garcia Doz by 14 points.
