Tragic death of player shocks Germany
The German football world was shocked by the tragic news that a 16-year-old player had drowned in a lake. Newton Opoku Mensah He was a member of Fortuna Düsselford’s youth team, whose first team played in the second division.

Fortuna Düsseldorf has suspended all youth team activities indefinitely – its first team was on the brink of promotion to the Bundesliga elite at the end of last season, but Bochum won the first leg 0-3 before replying 0-3 in the second to remain in the penalty shootout category (five games – 6).
