List of injured players at the Real Madrid clinic
Less than a month before the official match, real madrid Injuries, a yearly problem, have already become evident, and the Whites already have a list of sick players who are currently set to miss the return of inter-club action on September 14, when Real Madrid face Real Sociedad.
1
Dani Ceballos
Right ankle
The Sevilla midfielder was one of the latest players to fall after the league match against Betis, reportedly suffering a grade III sprain in his right ankle that also affected ligaments and will, as expected, be sidelined until the end of the year.
2
Jude Bellingham
Right plantar muscle
The Englishman only made it into the first league match before having to attend a medical with an injury to his right plantar fascia. He is expected to return shortly after the break.
3
Eduardo Camavinga
Left knee
After seeing footage of the injury in the run-up to the European Super Cup final, the club were “delighted” that the Frenchman’s only injury was a knee sprain, albeit a collateral ligament injury, which will keep him out of action until the end of September.
4
Ferland Mendy
Right tibia
The French full-back was due to arrive at the France training camp with a diagnosis of discomfort in his right tibia, which has led to him returning to Madrid as a precautionary measure. He is doubtful, but could be in San Sebastián next week.
5
Choameni
Right foot discomfort
Just like Mendy, the French midfielder went to the France camp and then immediately returned to Madrid to treat a right foot ailment that had already affected him negatively last season, leaving him in doubt for the showdown with Real Madrid.
6
Military
Right thigh
The latest to fall was the Brazilian centre-back, who felt some discomfort in his right thigh whilst training with the national team, the cause of which is yet to be determined. For now, Ancelotti’s defence is being held back by the fact that he only has two fit centre-backs, Rudiger and Vallejo.
