Keys to the Misano Sprint
Jorge Martin’s departure
The trio of drivers Bagnaia, Morbidelli and Bezzecchi took the lead, making it an important victory for the Madrid driver, who beat the Italian Armada, led by Valentino Rossi, at home. Martin made a great start, leading the pack into the first corner and from there “easily” resisting the desperate attacks of a frustrated Bagnaia.
Marquez crashes in Q2
Marc, who suffered a crash in Q2 and was demoted to the third row of the starting grid, needed to take the first step to cross the finish line in ninth place and reach the foot of the podium. Everything that remains of the weekend will be conditioned by that error.
Marquez vs Binder
With his characteristic determination, Marc beat his rivals and ended up taking the wheel of the always difficult South African. Marquez was stuck behind the KTM rider, but the only time I can top him is when he pulls 10 qualifying overtakes out of his hat… One of the most beautiful riders of the season.
12th lap
With two laps to go, Pecco Bagnaia thought Martin’s victory was inevitable: he let go of Jorge, and Jorge crossed the finish line with almost a second and a half advantage, but that margin in no way reflected the pressure Martin was under by lap 12.
Work done at Team Pramac Box with Franco Morbidelli
The Italian driver missed the preseason after a very bad accident that almost forced him to retire. He had to do it during the first GGPP, which resulted in him being stationed in the last position of the race and many called for his retirement due to the lack of level. But thanks to the unconditional support of his team and a meticulously planned work, today at Misano he is on the podium. Congratulations to both of them… one of those stories of not throwing in the towel.
