Marc Marquez is left without wings: 4 other sponsors that could “collide” with Ducati-Lenovo
Marc Marquez’s signing with the Ducati Lenovo team does not only mean a change of team and bike, but also an important adjustment in the list of his personal sponsors. The eight-time MotoGP world champion has been associated with Red Bull for years, but has been forced to abandon this partnership due to Monster Energy’s official sponsorship of the official Borgo Panigale team.. This change not only marks the end of a stage, but also opens the door to the next. Potential conflicts with other individual sponsors This may not apply to brands associated with Ducati.

I can’t continue because Ducati has another sponsor. Out of respect for Red Bull, we will not have any personal sponsors in this regard.. “I would like to thank the Red Bull family and hope we will continue to be friends.”
Marquez’s relationship with Red Bull has been fundamental to his career, with advertising campaigns, events and synergies that go beyond mere sponsorship. Nevertheless, Monster Energy, official sponsor of Ducati Lenovo, has exclusive rights in the energy drinks categoryThis makes it impossible for both brands to coexist in a pilot environment.
Potential other sponsorship conflicts
Red Bull may not be the only adjustment Marquez has to make to his sponsorship portfolio.. With his move to Ducati Lenovo, there are also other business partnerships that could compete with the team’s partners.
The six-time MotoGP World Champion maintains business relationships with the following companies: samsungthe technology giant that has supported his career in recent years. but, lenovoAs the team’s main sponsor, could view this association as a conflict of interest. Both brands compete directly in categories such as mobile devices and technology in general..
sponsorship of allianzAlthough Cervera is one of the most recognized insurance companies in the world, it could also pose a problem for Cervera. Ducati Lenovo welcomes Italian insurance company UnipolSai as official partner The team has a strong presence in its home country.
In the sunglasses and optical accessories section, “93” has a contract with Oakleyis a brand that has attracted attention due to its collaboration with numerous elite athletes. but, The Ducati team is backed by the eyewear company Carrera It is also closely related to the world of sports and motors.
One of Marc Marquez’s longest-running sponsors is Spanish Brewery Estrella Galicia 0.0which accompanied him from his beginnings. but, The Ducati team welcomes Italian sparkling wine brand Contadi Castaldi as a partner in the beverage category.. Although these two brands are not direct competitors, The exclusivity demanded by Ducati could affect this long-standing relationship.
Marquez’s strategic changes
Changing equipment involves not only adapting to new bikes and working dynamics; new commercial ecosystem. In MotoGP, sponsors not only provide funding, but also image and recognition. Ducati Lenovo has one of the most complete and rigorous sponsorship programs in the paddock.drivers must work with brands associated with the team. In this context, Marquez will have to prioritize his new role within the team and work within the limitations imposed on him..
Mark could also use this situation to rebuild his personal image and seek an agreement consistent with the team.. In a global sport like MotoGP, a rider’s ability to adapt is not only judged on the track, but also in their ability to manage personal bests.
Throughout his career, Marquez has shown that he knows how to deal with challenges both on and off the track.. “93” focuses on becoming world champion again, forgetting the past, Embrace a future full of possibilities with Ducati Lenovo.

New F1 champion names motorsport legends who helped him
2025 Formula 1 champion Lando Norris admitted that private messages and personal meetings with legends such as Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel and four-time MotoGP champion Casey Stoner played an important role in the championship fight.
Norris has spoken about the support he has received ahead of the decisive stages of the season.
“I have received so many powerful words of encouragement, messages and speeches from incredible people who are world champions in a variety of sports, from Lewis, Seb and many more.
Many people don’t know that I communicate with Seb. Some, especially Casey Stoner, wrote me a quick message just when I needed it most: “Think about this, believe in yourself, do this, do that.” That really helped me get back on track.”
Norris’ title chances were in serious jeopardy following the recent rise of Red Bull’s Max Verstappen. However, McLaren’s successful strategy in Abu Dhabi on the final stage of the season allowed the Briton to finish third at the Yas Marina Circuit and formalize the championship title.
An important component of success was the pilot’s psychological resilience. Norris made mistakes throughout the 2025 season that could have cost him the title, but he managed to withstand the pressure while his teammate Oscar Piastri succumbed to the pressure at key moments of the season.
Norris concluded: “When you win the championship by just two points, I’m sure that the faith and support of the people around me brought me these two points. That’s why I’m grateful to everyone, because sometimes you only need two points to win the championship.”

MotoGP Ducati coach Gigi Dall’Igna: “Marc Marquez’s limitation was that he took risks that were unnecessary”
Gigi Dall’Igna He was one of the men who put his hand in the fire when he made the decision. Marc Marquez instead of Jorge Martin as a friend Pecco Bagnaia inside the box ducati official. But just one year later he was proven right. The Cervera native returned to the top of the motorcycling world with a landslide victory in the Desmosedici GP25.
Indeed, in recognition of this return to the top, DAZN released the documentary Volver, in which Ducati’s sports director reflects on the fact that Marc always pushes himself to the limit. Even when you don’t need to. And Dariña sees this as one of Marc Márquez’s few weaknesses thus far.
”His limitation is that he may take risks even when it is not necessary. If there had been a little more clarity, for example, some mistakes could have been avoided at some point,” Dall’Iña argued.
In this sense he also said: Marco RigamontiHe made his debut as a truck engineer for Marquez in 2025. For Italians, this exploration of boundaries is a trait that has brought them great success in the past.
“He always said this.I want to be remembered as someone who gave everything.. It shows on the track as he always pushes the bike to the maximum and always tries. He is not afraid to make decisions that go against the flow.. Moreover, he knows that if he makes a choice at the last moment that surprises the other drivers, it could give him an advantage,” Rigamonti said.
After becoming champion, Marquez was involved in an accident at the Indonesian Grand Prix and was forced to undergo surgery to recover from a shoulder blade injury. Just a few days ago, he was able to get back on a flat track motorcycle and is currently continuing to heal his right shoulder.
The goal, as Marc himself has reiterated both actively and passively, is to take part in the February test at Sepang. He doesn’t want to miss the start of the 2026 preseason.

Ferrari names troubled chief engineer over Lewis Hamilton
According to reports in the Italian media, the Ferrari team has made a decision about race engineer Lewis Hamilton for the 2026 season.
Riccardo Adami has been working with the seven-time world champion since the Briton moved to the Scuderia in January 2025. But there were a few strange and resonant radio conversations between them throughout the season.
During the Australian Grand Prix, Hamilton appeared confused by the lack of information from his engineer, and at the Miami round he reacted strongly to the situation, issuing team orders and advising the team to “drink some tea” after Charles Leclerc refused to let him pass.
At the Monaco Grand Prix, Riccardo Adami asked Hamilton: “Are you mad at me?” There was another incident where he ignored her request. Ferrari later announced that the engineer had left the pit wall at that time.
A similar situation was repeated after the last race of the season. During the radio exchange, Hamilton thanked the team and the race engineer for their cooperation, but received no response. The Briton then asked if they had heard him and received an explanation that the team were talking to each other at the time.
At the end of the season, team principal Fred Vasser said the Scuderia would review Hamilton’s inner circle to improve their results. And it looks like the decision has already been made.
According to Italian publication Auto Racer, Ferrari has decided to retain Riccardo Adami as Hamilton’s race engineer for 2026. The most important reason for this was a “very positive” private dinner between the pilot and the engineer.
The team expects to take a serious step forward in 2026 in light of new technical regulations. Next season could be decisive for Hamilton because 2026 is considered the last year of his current contract with Ferrari.
His first season in the Scuderia was a difficult one for the Briton. Hamilton finished the championship in sixth place using the problematic SF-25 car, but lost 86 points to his teammate.
Hamilton went a season without a podium for the first time in his career, while Leclerc scored seven goals. Of particular concern was the seven-time champion’s deteriorating qualifying form later in the year.
