DeMarcos is the only athletic soccer player to join Grass Grass in a previous conflict with Manchester United. The Lions were able to eliminate the Reds at the crosswalk in the 2011-12 Europa League 16 round. The current captain of the Loji Blanco team saw the goals at both Old Trafford in the first leg and San Mames in Lavruta.
