Lewis Hamilton: “I decide when to retire”
After Emilia-Romagna’s failed Grand Prix, when Max Verstappen beat Lewis Hamilton by one lap, Red Bull said the Briton should end his career before the season.
Hamilton hints that he aims to win a record 8 championships before the end of his career.
“I’m still a masterpiece, I’m working on my big goal in F1. And I will decide for myself when to end my career.
“We keep fighting. It’s not my style to leave if something goes wrong,” said Hamilton.
Mercedes is not easy given the new technical regulations, so the team lags behind its competitors.
