The Russian racer established a historical achievement in the USA. Even rivals applauded

Robert Schwartzman created a grand sensation on one of the most prestigious races in the world.

In the last weekend, something fantastic happened in America. The Russian-Israeli racer Robert Schwartzman became the first newcomer from 1983 on the legendary race “500 miles of Indianapolis”, who, with a debut attempt, managed to win a pole position. In America, they are completely delighted with the Russian pilot and already declare that Formula 1 has lost a real superstar. Perhaps it’s not too late, Robert?

Huge talent, which was not given a chance in “F-1”

Schwarzman, perhaps, is the most talented Russian racer since the time of Daniel Kvyat, who, despite all the difficulties, built a good career in Formula 1. The prospects of Robert, which was actively supported by the Russian SMP Racing team, looked great.

He won the Formula 3 championship in a brilliant style, and then, on the first attempt, he almost became the champion in Formula-2, fighting for the title to the end. In the second season, Robert became vice-champion, losing only to the Australian Oscar Piast, who, by the way, leads in the Formula 1 championship. This is a clear example of what potential was and has Schwartzman.

For various reasons, the Russian failed to become a combat racer in the main series of the world, although he was an important asset of the Ferrari Academy. The political situation was not in his favor. Actually, in many ways, because of it, Robert began to use an Israeli passport for a racing license.

Schwarzman stayed for some time for the Ferrari test and even participated in several free races within the framework of the Grand Prix, but could not gain a foothold in the main racing series of the planet. The time has come to take the next step in a motorsport career.

Even rivals arranged a native of the Russian

Here the option of moving to IndyCar turned up-a prestigious American series, which is called the overseas analogue of Formula 1. Robert signed a contract with the Italian team “Prema”, but at first things were going tight. In the first five races in the new series, Robert did not rise above 18th place, but then Schwarzman arrived at Indie-500 and arranged a grandiose sensation.

In general, I must say that this race is one of the three most prestigious in world motorsport along with the Grand Prix of Monaco Formula 1 and 24 hours of Le Mans. A person who won these three races is included in the so -called “triple club”, which is considered the top of everything in this sport. And at such a large -scale event, the Russian racer struck absolutely everyone, having won the qualifications.

Nobody has done this in the debut since 1983, when the achievement submitted to the Italian Theo Fobi. So Schwarzman has already gone down in history. Our pilot, of course, was insanely happy after the end of the session. On the pit lane, even opponents staged a standing ovation.

– I want to say many thanks to my engineers. They did an amazing job. Our car was really good. I had thoughts that this could not be true. I don’t know what to say. I just can’t thank the Wise and Chevy enough. When I went to my first race on an oval track, I could not even imagine that I would be in this position. Incredible! -the press service of the series quotes Schwarzman.

Formula 1 Lost a superstar “

Social networks also exploded from positive comments in support of the Russian rider, and experts are convinced that in the person of Schwarzman Formula 1 lost a potential superstar. One of the leading journalists in world motorsport, Will Bakston on social networks, expressed an opinion that many specialists share.

“I know Robert Schwarzman for a very long time.” He always said that this guy has courage and cunning. He is very fast and completely fearless. Formula 1 rejected it in due time and lost a superstar. And now he is the first newcomer for the pool position in Indy-500 for more than 40 years. He completely earned this success, and, obviously, this is only the beginning of the path for great talent, ”Bakston wrote.

The main race within the “Indie-500” will be held on May 25. To expect from Schwarzman Victory or even hit the pedestal too recklessly, but a Russian with an Israeli passport will surely do everything to consolidate historical success in qualifications. And if Robert puts such results on the stream, then getting into Formula 1 will cease to seem something unattainable for one of the main talents of the generation.

The Repsol Honda Team rider has taken his world title tally to 38 and, if the back tendon injury does not interfere with the indoor competition in 2025-26, where he is already in the lead, he will set off for his next year in 2026, which will be an “incredible challenge to achieve 40 titles at the age of 40”.

In 2025, one of the “greatest players”, Adam Raga, six-time world champion from 2003 to 2006 and historical rival of Toni Bowe, retired. He passes the baton to Jaime Busto and Gabriel Marcelli.

PHOTOGRAPH. Two-time F1 champion wowed with 0,000 Christmas gift

Two-time Formula 1 champion Fernando Alonso added the new high-performance SUV Aston Martin DBX S to his car collection. The driver took delivery of the car, valued at more than $260,000, a few days before Christmas in Monte Carlo, where he was photographed next to the new product near the Aston Martin dealership in Monaco.

Powered by Mercedes’ 727 horsepower 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8, the DBX S reaches 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds. The new SUV joins Alonso’s collection, which already includes the Aston Martin Valiant and Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR.

With 2026 rule changes approaching, Alonso and Aston Martin hope the new DBX S will signal the beginning of better times. The team’s new technical partnership with Honda and Adrian Newey’s experience pave the way for Aston Martin to challenge for top spot next season.

Lewis Hamilton reveals details of new F1 season preparation regime

Seven-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton has admitted he has had to significantly change his daily training regime as he gets older to cope with the physical and mental demands of the World Championship. The 40-year-old Ferrari driver is preparing for his 20th season in F1 and is the second oldest driver on the grid after Fernando Alonso.

The Briton stated that his preparation is now much tighter than at the beginning of his career, with recovery playing a key role in maintaining a competitive level.

“The regime has changed, it has improved. I still love running. This morning I ran 6 to 8 miles. Then I took an ice bath. But above all, the first thing I do as soon as I get out of bed is stretch,” Hamilton said.

According to the pilot, in order not to gain excessive weight, he limits strength training and prefers pilates, yoga and interval training. At the same time, there are two elements that he does not reject under any circumstances.

“Ice baths are not an option. Before, I didn’t really think about recovery: I just trained and got on with my life. Now stretching and ice baths are things I force myself to do every day,” Hamilton emphasized.

The seven-time champion athlete attaches great importance to mental health as well as physical training. He admitted that breathing exercises, meditation and yoga helped him cope with the stress of the 24-stage season.

The Ferrari driver concluded: “An ice bath teaches you to control your breathing and fight the urge to give up. This helps me stay positive throughout the year.”
