Rally “Pushkin Mountains” was canceled after the death of a race participant
The head of the Pushkin Mountains rally canceled the remaining special stages of the race in connection with the death of navigator Nikita Seversyukhin.
The tragedy happened on the fourth special -stew of nine. The crew driver No. 35 Konstantin Tarasov was not injured. The head of the race after joint consultations with the promoter of the championship and the Russian Cup ASMG and leading teams decided to stop the race.
– The Russian Automobile Federation expresses sincere condolences to the relatives and friends of Nikita Seversyukhin. The family of the racer will provide all the necessary support. The tragedy will be carefully investigated by the Russian Automobile Federation (RAF), the Federation reports in the Telegram channel.
The Pushkin Mountains rally took place in the Pskov region from May 28 to June 1.
