Paunovic: “There’s still a second game and there’s a lot to improve.”
Serbian coach Veliko Pawnovic, a real Oviedo coach, evaluated the 1-2 victory over UD Almeria and recognized the importance of the outcome, but insisted that the team must improve in certain aspects, as “the second game is still there and we will improve.”
“This team plays much better, so I want to be self-attractive. The second part is not good and there was a lapse that leaves me forgetting my offense. It’s positive about moving the ball, but it requires more depth.
Pawnovich emphasized the team’s ability to overcome difficult times and the importance of faith and collective efforts to achieve victory.
“I think it was a job that stuck to the power of faith and mental strength. When this is consistent, the body continues and the talent can flourish. They demonstrated it today, but we need to remember that not all involved play this way.
The coach also analyzed the mistakes he made, particularly with Almeria’s draw goals. “We have made a gift with sincerity. We cannot lose such a ball. You cannot give or trust us. We cannot argue in his field and with his rivals with his fans.
