The twenty -time world -ice champion Nikolai Krasnikov died at the 41st year of his life, said Russian Sports Minister Ruslan Khabibov.

According to the Shot Telegram channel, Krasnikov went to Ufa from Nizhnekamsk. At about 3 a.m. he drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with two trucks. Krasnikov died of injuries.
Krasnikov – eight -time world champion in personal standings, twelve -time world champion in the team standings, multiple winner of the Russian Cup.
