Shibalov won the Silk Road for the second time in his career
The crew of the KamAZ -Master team under the direction of the Russian pilot Anton Shibalov became the winner of the Silk Road rally in the standings of trucks.
The final 11th stage along the Kosh -Agach -Agach -Altaysk route with a special stue end of 131.29 km took place on Tuesday. The victory at the stage was won by the crew of Russian Bogdan Karimov (Kamaz -Master), who showed the result of 1 hour 27 minutes 5 seconds. The second and third were the other crews of the Kamaz -Master team – Almaz Akhmedova (+4 minutes 16 seconds) and Edward Nikolaev (+6 minutes 41 seconds). The crew of Shibalov took fifth place with a delay of 9 minutes 58 seconds.
The final time of Shibalov’s crew is 25 hours 15 minutes 53 seconds. In the second and third lines of Nikolaev (+17 minutes 22 seconds) and Akhmedov (+34 minutes 37 seconds), respectively.
For 41 -year -old Shibalov, the victory on the Silk Road became the second in his career. Earlier, the Russian won the rally marathon in 2019.
