The race began to get injured and several pilots went to the ground. Spaniards Alvaro Bautista (Ducati) and Xavi Vierge (Honda HRC) were stripped of the podium, fifth and seventh respectively.

Today was Razgatrioglu’s ninth victory on the Mangee Course, putting his world title in danger after an epic fall last year when he crashed into one of the protective walls that was transferred to a hospital diagnosed with pneumonia.
