Mick Schumacher leaves Alpin in the World Endurance Championship
German driver Mick Schumacher has announced his retirement from the Alpin Endurance Championship (WEC) team.
The 26-year-old driver scored three podiums in the 2025 season.
— I am very grateful for these two years in the Alpin team. Learned a lot on and off the track and am grateful to everyone who has been a part of this journey. I wish them all the best for the future. Stay tuned for 2026, Mick Schumacher wrote on social media.
Schumacher Jr. has been a reserve driver at Mercedes for the last two years, and before that he competed in Formula 1 for Haas for two seasons.
Mick Schumacher is the son of seven-time Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher.
