Former Formula 1 driver appointed Executive Director of the Russian Automobile Federation
Former Formula 1 driver Sergey Sirotkin has been appointed Executive Director of the Russian Automobile Federation (RAF). The 26-year-old racer took office on May 1, according to the organization’s website.
Sergei Ivanov, who previously held the post of executive director, became an adviser to the RAF President Viktor Kiryanov, and Kirill Sluchevsky replaced Svetlana Shakhova as executive secretary.
Sirotkin was a member of the Formula 1 championship in 2018. As part of the Williams team, the Russian took 20th place in the individual standings.
