Polaris Iberia fires up its engines for a new adventure in the Dakar Rally
Polaris Iberia announced its official project for the 2026 Dakar Rally at Rocco’s Ranch (Barcelona), reaffirming its leadership in the world of rally raids after conquering the world’s most demanding event for the second year in a row.
The event brought together representatives of the brand. The TH-TRUCKS team supported by Josep Maria Cendra (Polaris Iberia Country Manager), Miriam Torrence (Polaris Iberia Marketing Manager), official driver Gonzalo Guerreiro, and Polaris Iberia. This strengthens the company’s commitment to off-road competition.
Polaris has won two consecutive Dakar Rally races and will enter 2026 as the brand to win. In 2024, the Sébastien Loeb Racing Team, featuring Xavier de Soultrae and Martin Bonnet, achieved victory in the SSV category. In 2025, Brock Hegar and his co-driver Max Eddy Jr., also in the Sébastien Loeb Racing Polaris RZR Pro R Factory, took the win. These achievements highlight the reliability, speed and innovation of Polaris SSV and solidify the project as one of the most competitive in the world.
Guerreiro in the vanguard
Gonzalo GuerreiroRecently appointed as the official Polaris factory driver for the Sébastien Loeb Racing Team, he reached this new stage after an exceptional season in which he was declared Portuguese Overall Champion and achieved remarkable victories in the Portuguese Rally Raid, establishing himself as one of the most competitive drivers on the international off-road scene.
Being part of the official Polaris project is a great opportunity. The brand has proven its ability to win and the Sébastien Loeb Racing Team brings an exceptional level of skill. I approach the 2026 Dakar with enthusiasm, a sense of responsibility and the belief that we have a winning package.
