Getafe will not offer visiting tickets to Chulli Urdines fans
Real Sociedad announced on Monday that they cannot expect fans to attend their next league game against Getafe. Friday, January 9th at 9pm at Alfonso Perez Coliseum. The reason is unfamiliar to both the San Sebastian club and its fans. Azulon Stadium is immersed in a remodeling process that will significantly reduce its available capacity. Due to the situation, Getafe CF suspended the sale of tickets to visiting fans, a measure that has already affected other La Liga teams who have recently passed through Madrid territory, and was repeated on this day.
The Çuri Urdin club itself would like to inform the fans of this situation through an official statement, in which they expressed their regret for the inconvenience and thanked the fans for their understanding. “Real Sociedad will play in Getafe on Friday, January 9th (9 p.m.). The Azulon Club has announced that it will not be able to provide tickets to visiting fans as the Colosseum stadium is undergoing renovations,” a memo issued by the organization said. Donostia emphasizes that this situation is not an anomaly and is not directed at any particular club. However, this is a direct result of the construction work being carried out at the stadium in the south of Madrid, which will also mean that part of Getafense’s very public will not be able to access each home game.
