The first images of the 2026 Audi Formula 1 car appeared on the internet after its first race in Barcelona.
A few years ago, the German automaker announced its intention to enter Formula 1 in 2026, with the start of a new era in technical regulations. For this, Audi purchased the Sauber team, which has been competing in the championship for more than 30 years.
In addition to developing its own chassis, Audi also creates its own powertrains. After years of preparation and development, the car officially hit the track for the first time on Friday, kicking off the preparation program for its debut season.

Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto will race for Audi in the 2026 season, and former Red Bull sporting director Jonathan Whitley will serve as team manager.
