The Williams team announced that it will reveal the exterior of the 2026 FW48 vehicle on February 3 and promises an “impressive appearance” for the vehicle.
The team had previously revealed a special livery to be used by Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz during private testing in Barcelona. The new livery will adorn the car throughout the season, including two official pre-season tests in Bahrain.
The team is optimistic about the 2026 season. He took a big step forward by finishing 5th in the Constructors’ Championship last year and team boss James Wools’ project to restore the team to its former strengths is gaining momentum.
Carlos Sainz claimed two podium finishes at the end of last season and if the Mercedes engine is as strong as expected, Williams will have the chance to add a few more podium chances in 2026, as was the case with the 2014 power unit regulation change.
