The F1 team has already arrived for pre-season testing. When will the car hit the track?
Rumors have surfaced online about Alpin allegedly conducting early test runs at a track near Barcelona. However, it turned out that this was not the case.
On Tuesday, photos of Alpine trucks on the Catalonia circuit circulated on social networks. In the background of the pre-season presentations, many people decided that the team was bringing a new car to the track.
In fact, Alpin came to Barcelona only to prepare the pits and team infrastructure ahead of the first official pre-season test, which will take place in about a week and a half.
The presentation of the new car with Mercedes power plant will be held on January 23 and will also be held in Barcelona. It is still unknown exactly when the car will hit the track for the first time; it is possible for this to happen during testing.
Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto will play for Alpine in the 2026 season. After a disastrous 2025, the team is confident of better results thanks to the change in mechanics.
