Dakar movie final: Benavidez wins by 2 seconds
No one could believe it. Luciano Benavidez was risking everything to win the 2026 Dakar on two wheels. It appeared that it was already in Brabec’s hands. Everyone took it for granted. Luciano said things weren’t over yet and he was going to stick it out until the end. And, against all odds, and to the surprise of the entire Dakar, the Argentine regained more than three minutes of time in the final four kilometers of the Dakar and won his first title against Brabec. A frenzy broke out at the final goal line, with the entire KTM team jumping and hugging the Argentine. No one could believe it. He’s back, and best of all, he’s come back from a hard fall in the last Morocco Rally, breaking his knee and injuring his shoulder. He did not want to undergo surgery to reach Dakar. Not only did he run, he won along with the ending of the movie.
