Someone outside Formula 1 to unveil 2026 car at sea
Formula 1 team Alpin will make an unusual presentation before the start of the 2026 season. This Friday, the French team will officially unveil the A526 during a special event on a cruise ship in the Balearic Sea off Barcelona.
Alpin turned to a “cinematic” presentation to express himself clearly at the beginning of this year, when the media component played an increasingly important role.
The event will take place on a ship provided by MSC, Alpin’s strategic partner. A limited number of guests and representatives of the main sponsors will be invited to the presentation. Besides the car, special attention will also be paid to several drivers, Franco Colapinto and Pierre Gasly, who will take to the main stage together.
Important names in the team’s sports structure, Alpin consultant Flavio Briatore and manager Steve Nielsen will also attend the presentation. They will accompany the demonstration of the car with which the team aims to put a disappointing 2025 season behind them and achieve a competitive 2026.
