Max VERSTAPPEN: “I love being Leclerc’s hunter, catching him”
Reigning F1 champion Max Verstappen is quite happy with his position as he falls behind Charles Leclerc in the overall standings, but is slowly catching up.
“For Leclerc, I love my position as a fighter, the position of a catch-up. I know I have a fast car to win. For example, I was the one caught at the end of last season.”
“It wasn’t very pleasant, especially since the car wasn’t that fast,” Verstappen said.
According to the results of the 5th Grand Prix of the season, Verstappen won 3 races and Leclerc – 2nd. However, the Ferrari driver is 19 points ahead of the Red Bull driver in the overall standings.
